One of the leading innovators of Psy-Trance, AZAX (Regev Azaria) is one of the scene’s most influential artists. The creator of his own signature sound, “Power Trance,” AZAX combines the raw energy of hard rock with the hypnotic intensity of electronic music, creating a sound that is both visceral and cerebral.

His musical journey began in the Israeli heavy metal scene in the early 1990s, before discovering electronic music through Israel’s legendary rave culture. Captivated by the sound and energy of the scene, he immersed himself in trance as a DJ and producer, driven by a desire to merge his rock roots with electronic music.

The result is a distinctive, high-energy sound that has earned AZAX a devoted global following and established him as a sought-after international festival act. Throughout his career, he has released more than 100 tracks on respected labels including HOMmega and Nutek, while collaborating with renowned artists across the trance scene.

Beyond his work as an artist, AZAX has also dedicated himself to developing new talent in Israel. He serves as President of the Electronic Music Department at Beat Master College in Tel Aviv and teaches mixing, mastering, and sound design at Sound Tel Aviv.
